The Ride for Life organization visits Baker each year to give a presentation about ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This presentation teaches our students about the effects of ALS and how it impacts people living with the disease.  The purpose is to build empathy and understanding around the daily challenges faced by ALS patients.  Baker has been a proud supporter of Ride for Life for over a decade.

This initiative is just one of the many opportunities provided to Baker students that promote empathy, acceptance, and understanding.  It reflects our broader mission to educate caring, kind, and socially-conscious individuals.
