It is an honor to return to the Great Neck Public Schools as the Acting Assistant Principal of the E. M. Baker School. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to join the exceptional E. M. Baker faculty and staff and to work alongside our Acting Principal,
Dr. Heather Sweet-Lazos. This school community is truly special in countless ways. Each time I walk through our hallways and classrooms, I am welcomed by the sights and sounds of happy, inquisitive learners and inspired by the innovative, outstanding teaching that takes place every day. Children thrive in warm, caring, child-centered, and stimulating learning environments, and that spirit is evident throughout the E. M. Baker School.

It is both exciting and rewarding to watch young learners reach important developmental milestones and to observe the gentle, knowledgeable support our faculty and staff provide along the way. I am truly committed to fostering learning environments that nurture not only the academic growth of every child, but also their social and emotional well-being. The faculty and staff at our school are dedicated professionals who share this commitment, and I look forward to collaborating with them and with our families as we move forward in the months ahead.
